    They go together fine here.

When you first install one after the other there may be some pop-ups from each warning about the other: "allow + remember this"

Heh: they should know each other by now but...;)

Maybe some overlaps but no problems here so far
Could be debated as to whether CH offers anything over PX: but free for a trial: see what you think.

There have been some issues with CH v2+
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=161731

Most problems can be sorted with the config window
    Some slowdowns noted.
    Some false pos keylogging notifications.

TBH I am not sure how long CH may be around: there seems to be a proliferation of HIPS/IDS apps around at the moment, CH does not seem to have a really high profile: I'm not sure about their business model: shame really, just my personal observation: I like the tool.

CH Did well at the Av-C tests last october: go to:
    http://www.av-comparatives.org/index.html?http://www.av-comparatives.org/seiten/comparatives.html
Look down the page to "Comparative of various protection tools Oct 2006"
Check the PDF and the chart: actually beat PX ootb. :)

If you run Rootkit Hook Analyser you will see the efforts of both PX and CH.

    HTH

Hi, folks: Have not heard anything from CH for sometimes. And a lot questions here are left unanswered, bitter tastes lingering around. Hello, anyone at home? meantime, prevx1 just upgrated to v.2.3.1.B 14 today, a lot activities there, good sign. These facts alone would very easily convince me which one is better.

Well, I have mixed feelings and have lost some faith indeed (but not too much). At the moment I wouldn't use it alone, but Prevx1 + a good AV are a very good combo.

The PX concept is nice, but I'm afraid it takes for them too long to do good business (and the best anti-malware). I hope I'm wrong - the people behind the product deserve to succeed.

As I said at CC: This distain by Prevx people at the CC forum is simply unbelievable.

The detection rate seems indeed to have rised a bit during last weeks.
    Lets lace fingers together. :)

    Hi guys,

We are still around, we are just bogged down with trying to get a better version out to the world.
Hopefully you will like our overall performance. V2.0.4 is coming soon.

    Sorry for the silence.

    Regards

    Dan

Do you think it will be compatible with Prevx1?

    Question to others:

I'd like to add another BB/HIPS along with Prevx1.
    a) what behavior blockers are compatible with Prevx1?
    b) what HIPS are compatible with Prevx1?

    Nice to hear.
    Two ewquests:

    - Remove false keylogging alerts
    - Make it really light( too much CPU spikes by CH service ATM). As it is supposed to an add-on to signature based Anitivirus etc, it must be light.

Aigle, we are addressing amongst others, those "requests".

The working set should be around 4-5K. I cruise on my systems here around 3.9K which please me.

FPs are reduced, I hope that this will be significant, however the proof will be when it is released on thousands of machines.

PrevX1 v2.3.1 Build 14 seems to work fine along with Cyberhawk v2.0.4. So far ;-)

The components for Prevx2 and how they would manifest have been the sole focus for the past month or two (or three... I lose track) now.

My own tests with Prevx1 and CyberHawk have given mixed results. Sometimes they worked fine, other times not. It may have, admittedly, been problems that had nothing to do with the two working together, but I do recommend people be prepared for the worst as a precaution - which really goes for any software install, anyway. :)
