Please not the port is not the default.

I will leave the server on all weekend (UK GMT)

I’ve just hosted a chat session today with the help of the folks using the public server test and have found the following works with my Draytek 2600. If you are having problems configuring CS try these settings in conjunction with the info in CS’s help file.
From the main router menu (the default is http://192 168 1.1 from your browser), select the NAT Setup menu (under Advanced Setup) and then Port Redirection Table; the screen shown below will appear. It is important that you only redirect the ports you know you need to forward rather than forward all ports, as otherwise you compromise the NAT facility’s intrinsic firewall type security.

Having now run the server for 3+ days with no problems, I have decided to keep it running everyday over the Christmas period 10AM - 11PM GMT
Yesterday evening I had a request to leave it on over night which I did and several ppl dropped in to try there connections. I was not around but at least there appears to have been no problems :)
So please feel free to drop in for a chat.
Sometimes you may need to leave your connection on for a while before another user responds.

    Have fun - Pilli

    Hello all,

Just a quick note to say I visited Pilli's server yesterday, had a nice chat, and learnt a lot....

Anyone considering CS, whether you are using the trial or the paid version, I definitely recommend giving Pilli's chat server a try. Jason has gone out of his way to make it simple to use with little user intervention. The encryption takes place silently in the background.

Thank you Pilli for opening your server to us and thanks to Jason for a superb piece of software!!!

    Regards,
    Kent
