There is no 100% protection against every new variant of Cryptolocker. We in ESET employ technologies such as Advanced heuristics, Live Grid, Advanced memory scanner and Exploit blocker as well as a strong web scanner to protect users from new variants to the maximum extent and working on further improvements how to deliver the best protection possible. I'm sure that every vendor does their best to protect their users :)

USA still the best. But barely.
To supplement BDIS I'm using Malwarebytes ANTI-EXPLOIT & BD Anti-Ransomware. Both are free.
