    Hi

I am trying to create a bootable Flash Drive from a Linux Live CD ISO. I can make a CD which is bootable and which successfully boots. However, I am unable to create a bootable flash drive.

I have used Unetbootin, Lili USB Creator and a host of others from within Windows 7 to try to create this linux bootable flash drive. To no avail

The nearest I got was using FUSBi (a derivative of Unetbootin) I got all the options on boot up but the boot failed with the error message:

"Couldn't find live CD Configuration File"

I since found out that the Live CD does not support USB booting.

Is there anything I can do to make the ISO bootable from a Flash Drive?

    Thanks for you help

    Terry

I rely on UltraIso for that. Try the 30-days functional demo, it might work !

    Maybe Xboot would work.
