    Hi Folks,

I wonder if someone might guide me on this issue, even though I am using a free version of "Paragon Backup & Recovery 17CE".
I am making backup images of my Windows-10 (20H2), but the restore part is where I have a problem. I need to create a bootable CD or USB-Stick Memory for the future.

    My issued is:
I have downloaded both "adksetup.exe" and "adkwinpesetup.exe", and executing them simply created 257 cab type files. I don't know what to do with them.

I wonder if someone would be kind enough to tell me "What to do next" to eventually create a bootable media that will allow me to access the backup files created by Paragon so that I can perform a restore if necessary?

    Many Thanks,

    jPaul

He...o_O I thought we were moving to a genderless society :D... plus, I'm not sure Frogs even have a sex.

Anyway, I was offering the OP a PRIVATE storage link to a document I have collected along the way. I DO NOT publicize these types of LINKs in the wild as they are mostly short lived and temporary.

    Thank you for your time...

Regardless of what The RollbackFrog sent, the original poster should have a much easier solution available.
Basically Paragon 17 CE states when you try and build the recovery media that you need to download the Microsoft ADK but if you are running Windows 10 version 20H2 as the OP poster states then you can ignore the warning and just carry on. It will build the recovery media ok. I can say this with confidence as I have done it myself. Downloading the relevant ADK was as far as I'm aware necessary with earlier versions of Windows 10.

    Hi Guys,

Thank you so much for the response. I am very happy to discover I don't need to follow the ADK stuff.

I'll go back to the "Recovery Media Builder" and work it out.

I appreciate the time you folks gave to me. It was a nice thing to see.

    Thanks again,

    Paul

BTW: How does one PM? and can I mark this issue as resolved?
