create bootable CD

I'm using 8.0 (744). Acronis True Image does not let me create bootable CD. When I start the rescue media wizard, it says "Acronis True Image has not found any floopy disk drives." Do I have to use floopy disk? My laptop has no floopy disk drives. Instead, I have an external DVD writer (can also write CD) connect to my laptop via firewire/1394 port.


How can I create bootable CD without using floopy disk?

Could you please do the following?

- Open Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information;
- Select the System Information item;
- Choose the Save As System Information File option in the File menu (or Action under Windows 2000);
- Send the saved file to support@acronis.com.
