Cracker destroys security mailing list of Linux distros

    According to this posting a cracker destroyed the infrastructure of the Vendor-sec security mailing list. This list had been criticized by Linus Torvalds in the past - and IMO rightly so. So, salute to this cracker :D

    I don't understand. Is Torvalds arguing for full disclosure?
    If you do responsible disclosure there will always be leaks, that can't be fixed.

    IMO if vendor-sec should stay it needs to be managed by someone more competent. I mean, they run this highly sensitive list on an presumably unpatched/unmaintained system and read the log files every two months.
