CPU Usage in a Video Folder

    I have a folder which contains bunch of videos. When i enter to that folder ekrn.exe starts to eat my cpu and i can't use my computer anymore. Can anyone help me?

    You could go to Setup -> Antivirus and Antispyware -> Real -time file system protection -> then click on Edit Exclusions.

    Click on add, then browse to the video folder. To exclude all files append \*.* to the end of the folder path e.g C:\Path to folder\*.*

    To exclude by extension follow the same steps as above but append \*.wmv or whatever the video file extension is. Repeat for each extension you wish to exclude.

    What format are the videos?

    Thank you stackz it worked.

    Format of these videos are ; Divx,Mp4,Avi,Mpg,m2v and wmv
