    Are you using 1.5.82?

You also need to edit the registry to remove the Sunserver entry in

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

You also need to use some registry monitoring tools to prevent the sunserver entry to be added automatically again by CounterSpy.

You need to remove the sunserver entry and prevent it from adding itself again after running CounterSpy manually.

    lol.

back to the drawing board, when my dad logged on counterspy tryed to do update but locked up. and also ultra wind cleaner one click screwed up after ssm terminated it earlier today. if i have learned one thing f-secure dont like any other apps along side it. also real time antispyware shields are a real nightmare and comsome to much resource.

I use Win Patrol to disable such at start up. I am currently using it to prevent CS from starting. I am using SAS as my active, although I go back and forth.

Win Patrol has a free version, and I am reasonably sure that it will do the same.

    PS.
Lodore uses programs that are unknown to many of us. :)

    i sure do IMO.

f-secure suite doesnt seem to work along any antispyware apps and if you tell f-secure support they just say unistall it and just use f-secure.

once i get rid of it i will be able to use which apps i want and not just f-secure because it doesnt work well with others.

lodore, KIS and SAS inactive, are you true answers. Get the beta and keep trying it out till Nod arrives.

    Hi Lodore,

Why don't you just use the F-Secure AV. It does have an AS component, but it also runs well with SAS and Counterspy on my machine.

I know you are rich, but I am using the CHIP trial of F-Secure, and not the suite. :D

sure does. lets hope spysweeper 5.2 is lighter than 5.0 and can run along side nod32 because i do like spyweeper but 5.0 is awful and uses to much resource.
