counterspy and nod

Hi everyone
I have just had my PC reformatted and reinstalled nod 2.7. The tech that formatted install a copy of counterspy (the trial) and recommended very highly I purchase it. He said it works very well with nod. I do not have active protection enabled. Before I actually make the purchase could some please advise if in fact it is compatible with nod, if I should buy it or uninstall? If it is would I enable active protection or leave it disabled? I trust nod but it cant hurt to have a back up for spyware. Thanks for the help. kaminikij

 

My opinion is that NOD32 is sufficient for spyware as well. Make sure you are using Blackspear's settings as described here:

I would add SuperAntispyware (Free) as an on-demand scanner. The latest version can be downloaded here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/SUPERAntiSpyware_d5116.html

I Think SAS v4 Coming Is Best With Nod32

Personally I'd listen to the tech he's got it right. I have used both products myself for sometime now and have CounterSpys realtime protection enabled.

 

I second that motion! Counter Spy is a great complement to NOD or ESS.
