    Hi,
I purchased T 8.0 and using a disk clone to clone my disk for the same Sony PC. After I clone the disk, I removed the cable from the original disk and keep
the cloned disk in the system and change it to master drive.

But I could not be able to boot the new cloned drive in the same Sony PC. The screen shows:
"Reboot and Select proper boot device".

I look at the content of the drive, every thing suppose to be copied are there. It just could not boot.

    Any one can help?

Both Orginal and target cloned are same size: 200G
I tried the clone from both in the window XP and the rescure CD.

    Thanks a lot!
    Tan

    Hello Tan,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

This can happen when the hard disk drive is connected to the motherboard or to a Promise controller card. If you press and hold CTRL+ALT+DELETE, the computer starts normally.

Please try to download and install the P13 BIOS from the Gateway Web site. The filename is 7511677.exe.

    Thank you.
