corldess mouse

    my moms cordless mouse chews up batteries......is there a setting to shut off the red light, so that it only comes on when there is movement??

    All I do is take out the batteries ;) When I remember that is !! LOL !! :D

    The red light is the laser and it has to be on to sense movement or it won't work.

    yeah i told my mom to take out the batteries too.......she insists that my aunt has a corldess mouse and she says the light is only on when in use.....i dont believe it tho.....like a hibernate mode most likely..

    I saw a tip,That said turn mouse over when not in use to save battery life.Don't know if it works though.
