Dayum, I no longer have a cardinal reason not to buy an iPhone. Why? Because I have a tutorial finally showing how to copy local media (and music files) onto the iPhone without using the iTunes by utilizing the VLC media player Sharing over Wi-Fi functionality, Web server interface, bulk vs individual file copy and some associated errors, and more.
