Hello all. I'm new to the forum and have discovered your forum because I have a problem. Please excuse my lack of tech knowledge.

I subscribed to ESET late in March having moved from Norton which was pre-installed on my Dell machine at home.

Earlier this week I started getting persistent cookie/adverts popping up unexpectedly for stuff like antispy fixes, dating sites and strangely AA car insurance?

I have deleted all cookies and temp files in IE7 options and run a full scan on ESET several times. Each scan is picking up a handful of intrusions.

Each time I open up IE again, all the settings have defaulted back to allowing all cookies and the problem returns.

Before I GSI (get someone in) I thought I would ask if anyone has any suggestions/ experience with this.

    Thanks for reading this.
