I've started using LnS, switched to enhanced rule set (I'm sitting behind the router). It looks nice and good, but there is one thing bothering me - continuous triggering of the "UDP : Any other UDP packet" rule. It goes on and on all the time o_O

I've attached the screen shot. Is it normal or there is something wrong with LnS configuration / my router etc.?

It looks to me like alerts about Universal Plug and Play. Try stopping the service and see if the prompts go away.

If they do, you can disable the service or create a rule to block the packets with no logging.

    Hi,

Yes those are uPnP broadcast, but they are inbound from your router.

As mentioned, you can make a rule to silently block those packets, or simply disable the logging on the "Block all" rule.

Yes, stopping the service in windows didn't help. The flow is coming from the router :shifty:
So I'll have to play around with rules then :)

by all means play with rules but also check the router and its settings for upnp (if available)

Router had some mysterious port forwarding there. Disabled UPnP and the flow from router stopped of course. Will have to see if some other problems don't crawl out. If everything is OK, can leave it disabled
