Constantly using 48-85% of CPU

Although I have real-time protection disabled and virtual mode not started and system restore disabled, rvsmon.exe uses 48 to 85 % of my CPU ALL THE TIME. Is there a solution or should I just uninstall?

 

any more info on the computer specifications?

I will reply to Coldmoon as instructed. For the record, I am running XP sp3 on a Pentium Dual Core 2.5 GHz with 3 GB RAM. So 48-85% is quite a substantial demand.
