connection problems with netop desktop firewall 3.0 and edonkey2000

does enyone now about this firewall and how to congif the port settings.when i just set edonkey to allow communication i get unreachable but when i set it too unrestricted communication,every thing is ok i pass at shields up and iam reachable in edonkey but this unrestricted communication.cant be safe is it ?if not is there a way to set port ranges my port raneges are 10300 tcp to 10301 udp.eny help would be appreciated thanks..
