So we're just starting to test nod32 on our server. So far, so good. But we're having issues when building an install package.

Here's what we're doing. We built a config file that we thought we liked. Everything looked good, built the install package for remote install. Everything worked fine, pushed it out to a client and found we needed a few more tweaks to the install package.

So instead of going back to the remote install package and modifying the xml file there, we instead went directly to the configuration editor and made the changes to our xml file. This way we have the changes if we want to manually push them out, and then we can just go back to our remote install, open the package and select the modified XML file. But when we do this, we receive the follow error (Screen shot attached) -

The file has incorrect format. (10040,3)

Yet 10 minutes ago, it worked fine. We're having a hard time making changes to the config file when we seem to need to start over. Even if we go into the install package and just modify what's there, do an export and try to use that file, same error.

If you are using ERA2, you must save the configuration xml file in an old format that complies with v2. You can set this option in the configuration editor setup.

This is in version 1.0.15. Can you use ERA2 with 2.7?

Hi, ERA 2 can push out configurations and packages to 2.7 clients, but it can't be used as a mirror for 2.7 clients.
