Interesting article, thanks. I grew up in the 80's with consoles from Atari, Nintendo and Sega. But I never actually bought a Nintendo console back then, eventhough I was a fan of Captain N and The Super Mario Super Show, great cartoons, see links. But in the 90's I went for the Sega Game Gear and Sega Mega Drive. Games like Sonic the Hedgehog and Mortal Kombat were awesome.

After that I switched to PC gaming, I never bought a PlayStation or Xbox. My favorite PC games still are FIFA and Unreal Tournament. Revolt was also pretty cool, I believe you can still download it for free. I did buy a Sony PSP back in 2005 and last year I bought a Nintendo Switch Lite, but the games were a bit disappointing so far. Perhaps I should buy Super Mario Kart, but I never really was into it.
