My computer just rebooted for no reason. Other computers around were fine. When I rebooted, it is frozen. I finally got to the Task Manager and got to find that Explorer was 99% and I end it. Then I get an error..

Windows cannot find '/idlist,:468:2876,. Make sure you typed the name correctly andthen try again.

I didn't do a search and when I click "ok" it freezes up again. Any idea if this is a computer glitch, virus or Spyware?

    Any ideas would be appreciated..

    Thanks.

    Gary

    Hi,

from what you have just descibed it is difficult for someone to tell what exactly is going wrong, except if he/she has encounter the same thing before. Anyway, I think you should do an on-line scan to see if you get anything. Try bitdefender and ewido and report back.

    Bitdefender: http://www.bitdefender.com
    AVG: http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

    Regards,
    Yannis

Maybe you can restart your computer in safemode, and have a scan for spyware and virus. Pay attention to reading the infected files' path and suffixes, do not delete in a hurry.
