The following is an excerpt from a client's machine with NOD32 4.0.

    Code:
5/29/2009 10:04:09 AM	Real-time file system protection	file a variant of Win32/PSW.YahooPass.NAD trojan	error while cleaning Event occurred during an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe.
The column which indicates the location of the virus is BLANK!

I submitted the offending executable to virustotal.com and it checked out 100% clean.

The error message comes up a couple of times a day and the user is very concerned about it.

    What do I do?

    Hello,

If you run the ESET command line scanner (filename: ECLS.EXE) on the computer, does it then identify an infected file?

    Regards,
