    Hi,

I've just bought an Iomega Prestige 2 TB USB 3.0 external hard drive but I'm unable to see it from Paragon Backup and Restore 11 on Windows 7.

I cannot see it even if I try to connect to it using an USB 2.0 port.

Otherwise, no problem using it from other programs on Windows 7 with either USB 2.0 or 3.0.

The hard drive has not be encrypted. Just a plain and simple connection.

    Any know compatibility issue?

    Thanks!

Mine is a IOmega eGo 1TB portable hard drive. It came with a Y cable, one side of the cable is for USB v3.0 port and another side of cable is for USB v2.0 port.

On a USB v2.0 machine only, I plug-in both sides of the Y cable in two USB v2.0 ports.

Though, I have no power cable, since the hard drive being portable.

I don't know if this will be any help.

Make sure the Iomega Prestige 2 TB USB 3.0 has the latest driver fully up to date and do another Paragon Rescue CD just in case.
