    Hello,
Ever since installing NOD32 Antivirus(2.7), there has been an issue of office no
    longer working.
Every application except Outlook 2007 says there is an Ordinal Not Found in
    oart.dll.
Outlook just says it encountered a problem and needs to close, and when it
tries to start in safe mode, it claims that there is not enough system
resources. (This PC has an Opteron 165 and 1.5gb of ram, not a lot of
    programs running)
I disabled DMON and EMON, but that has done nothing, even after a restart.
Has anyone got both of these to work together?

Also, what are blackspears extra settings and what will they let me do? The thread seems to be just general config questions.

Have you tried uninstalling NOD32 to see if it is different then ? Have you tried reinstalling NOD32 ? If you have the same problems with no NOD32 installed , then the Office itself might be corrupted . Have you tried to Repair the MS Office 2007 by opening Control Panel->Add/Remove programs , find MS Office 2007 and choose "Change" , follow the instructions to reinstall the Office or repair it :thumb:

    Hello,

When you installed NOD32 v2.7 on the computer, did you use the typical installation settings or do a customized install? If the latter, can you try uninstalling the program and then reinstall it using the typical settings and then running some of the Microsoft Office 2007 applications. Does this make any difference, or does the problem still occur?

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

That article might imply that the previous version of Office was not properly uninstalled before Office 2007 was installed.

MSFT states, and it is true, that two versions of Office CANNOT FULLY co-exist in the same OS, in large part to shared DLLs.

Based on the article above, NOD32 would seem to be exonerated.
