Has anyone tried the latest Comodo Internet Security? If so what are your thoughts. I gave it a try. I runs light. Not too sure about the AV's detection rate. It hasn't been tested as far as I can tell. There are a few reviews, but they are mixed. I just thought it was nice to have a company offer a free security suite.

Personally I think I'll wait till the v4 release gets more stable. It sure is interesting.

I've been checking it out now for only a couple of days. No problems so far. Ran a full system scan, and it flagged my zip software. I put it in exclusions, ran another scan with no problems. Just wish there were some tests of the AV. Maybe it's just too new yet.

I thank there is a better than average chance the Av will never be tested.
As Melih will always have a excuse not to submit it for testing.

It is more or less a "up to You" thing if you trust the AV or not.

Too bad. It's a nice concept, but I feel better running an AV/suite that has been tested by a reputable site.

I agree,as apparently many on their Forums appear to do.
    Time for testing has arrived.

However,As for now, it seems to be a quest for the ever morphing, ever elusive,
"AMATSO (Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization) compliant test(s)."

I don't bother with its AV module, it will be some time it comes close to current offerings, free or otherwise. I like the FW though. For me, it works nice

HIPS and fw are very good, for the av I agree, in fact I disabled it and use Avira 9.

I like their firewall also. I disabled the AV portion and went back to using Avast.
