    WOOT!

CFP can't be too hard now. Your grandmother could just follow the alerts.

Mamutu also has ventured in this direction, giving you the ALLOW vs. BLOCK % of those who touched this executable before you.

I have mixed feelings about the concept.

In the example cited above, 9 people voted to "ALLOW". My interpretation is that the 1st person (could have) made a wild and bad guess, and the next 8 people simply followed the 1st off a cliff.

I hope I'm wrong - but I'd like to see security software use more sophisticated algorithms based on REAL threat analysis, and not allow critical system protection to be governed by a Gallup Poll.

Which is why the security considerations are there to help as a proper guide.
Also remember this is a beta. Future versions are suppose to have many more services by threatcast.

Really nice improvement. Congrats to Comodo. It would be nice to have an (option to) automatic allow or block above 90% like in Mamutu. But i guess it wont be long before Comodo implements something similar.

Have installed it and it will not import my previous configuration.

However the only popup I have seen is for Skype trying to receive a connection from another computer which it said no data on. I had that blocked before so have done the same again.

Yes of course it is and until we use it it will have no data to work with. I have been opening some of my other programs and the popups are appearing. Some of them have a few results of other users but not many yet.

This program is for the D+ alerts.

    Great idea BTW.
If I once do my own virus, I first install it on my three machines here and trust it on each, so I can be sure to get things rolling. ;)

I'm glad to hear that this is only a starting point. I hope it eventually becomes something like Prevx, only more awesome (because it's free).

Looks like an interesting and probably pretty effective system, but the process shares an awful lot of info with comodo. Every process run on your system?

This concept might be interesting for some people, but I preffer to judge every situation for myself, not to base my decisions on what others have done. Also, I'm not confortable with a security app to share with others what decisions I take on my system...

I uninstalled this beta, was vulnerable to more then 4 keylogger attacks (cmdagent didn´t manage to install shadow hooks) and impossible to import my old Settings with blocked ip adresses.
