Comodo AV nightmare

    how do you get rid of the annoying installer popup that is left after removing Comodo AV manually. installer pops up for a few seconds then goes away.:mad:

    You can try using another av, that will fix the problem :)

    errr.... no it won't. Comodo forum is your best bet.

    The best advice for future endeavors is not to test beta products if you're not up to it, and to get an uninstaller that can analyze what changes are made on an install to undo them. I learned that the hard way.

    i agree, i mean ... come on, comodo AV?

    might aswell not use an antivirus

    Read the OP's post again, they no longer have Comodo installed but are looking for a way to remove remnant components...

    yeah my mistake there,

    but gimme a break, its my birthday... aint been awake long, and feeling rough after my 21st night out last night. o_O

    Another av isn't going to remove the installer.
    Report the problem to Comodo and request the removal tool.
