Does anyone have any tips on how to make the log files a bit more readable, like in a columnar (sp??) report ? I've tried a few different things like importing into a spreadsheet and such, but no real luck Any formatting tips out there working through some text editor and such
Hi - The only way I can make it more readable is by changing the font in notepad. Try Courier new as this is a set spaced font and may work better for your columns. HTH Pilli
Well Pilli !!!! I found the answer.... I downloaded a trial of Ultraedit and using that editors Column format, the PE Logs are now........ Perfect !!! Hey, Thanks for the tip on the font too. I'm going to have to see how that works out with a couple other formatting situations I am in..... Thanks for the prompt replies !
