Macromedia is pleased to announce that the ColdFusion MX 6.1 Updater is now available. Download and install the Updater to apply several key fixes that have been put in place since the release of ColdFusion MX 6.1.
What's included in the ColdFusion MX Updater?
This update to ColdFusion MX 6.1 consists of several fixes that have previously been available separately; the JRun Updater 3 (for ColdFusion server configurations only), new releases of DataDirect JDBC drivers and JIntegra COM support, making sure that these important components are up to date, all security fixes through July and over 60 bugs fixed in ColdFusion. It rolls together all ColdFusion MX 6.1 hot fixes and security patches that have been released to date, eliminating the need to install multiple hot fixes and patches. Many other included fixes have not been available elsewhere. Full details are available in the Updater Release Notes.>>>

Where can I get the ColdFusion MX Updater?

Who should install the ColdFusion MX Updater?
Macromedia recommends that all ColdFusion MX 6.1 customers install the ColdFusion MX 6.1 Updater. It includes numerous bug fixes that should enhance performance, stability, and security of your ColdFusion applications.

What if I have ColdFusion MX, and not MX 6.1?
Update ColdFusion MX to 6.1 before you install the Updater. Both ColdFusion MX 6.1 and the Updater are free for ColdFusion MX licenses owners. ColdFusion MX 6.1 includes numerous fixes, including many reliability and performance enhancements, in addition to substantial new features, so updating to ColdFusion MX 6.1 and installing the ColdFusion MX 6.1 Updater are both highly recommended.
