CLSID's for Wild Tangent, etc.

    These little nasties made themselves right at home in my registry. Something to add to SpywareBlaster & SpywareGuard. I suspect they were downloaded as a piggyback from a paid software I was installing. :mad:

    Wild Tangent HKey_Class_Root
    CLSID\[2fo9dfe2-278b-49F7-abad-63bed2e84984]

    TYPELIB\[bdd268bb-a9da-41cZ-a816-bd9dfd0scdoc]

    CLSID\[86767105-aa64-43be-a794-8ee19c42f98a]

    CLSID\[4F7488926-4fdl-42b7-a38d-217f7fefd291]

    TYPELIB \[fc32f87c-2715-419c-901d-0bb690kb17al]

    They also installed themselves here:
    Control Panel\MMCPL
    Windows\wt
    Windows\wt\wtgutils

    Another new one which came up was:
    ads.tucows[1].txt

    An Ad-aware scan identified the above and they are currently in quarantine.

    Got a bunch of these with the new AIM version 5.5.3572 . Ad-aware got rid of all of it due to them wanting to add gaming content to the messenger you must download.
