I'm trying to clone to a smaller (GB) drive. The amount of data on the original drive is of course small enough to fit on the clone.
The original drive has: os partition, an HP backup partition, and a 100 mb "system" partition -(don't know if this is an HP thing or a Windows 7 'feature').
When i try to clone the entire disk, Drivebackup reboots and only clones the 100mb system partition.
Trying to clone individual partitions brings up "wizard did not find space where a new copy can be created"
So can DB clone to a smaller drive and if so what am i doing wrong?

wellll - never mind -acronis was able to do it :thumb:

Yes, to avoid invalid geometry on the smaller HD, shrink the source HD first so it is slightly smaller than the target.

If you want to restore an image to a smaller partition /drive - Paragon is unusual as it is able do that.
