    Hello everyone !!!

What i wanted to ask is like this :
Right now i have two HDD's - one is 40 GB and the second is 20 GB.
They really old (like 8 years or so) Western Digital and never had any problems yet.But i feel that it is time to replace them before the disaster happens.
So tomorrow i going to buy new WD 80 GB 7200 8 MB Cashe HDD.

So i want to clone my 2 old hdd's to this new one. But,on the 40 GB drive i have 4 partitions (C,D,E,F) and on 20 GB drive i have 5 partitions (G,H,I,J,K).

I want that my new 80 GB drive will have same 9 partitions (C: to K:) cloned and the rest of space will be distributed between those 9 Partitions.

In True Image Manual its says i can clone from 1 HDD to another.

    Can i clone 2 HDD's to 1 ? If yes then how ?

Thank's to everyone who wish to help !!

    Hello Venus --

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for your interest in Acronis
    True Image (http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/)!

Unfortunately you can clone only HDD-to-HDD - you cannot clone 2 HDDs to one...

    Thank you.

Possible clone the one and leave the free space needed for the 2nd drive. After you boot to the OS, then create the exact partitions in size using disk management on your new drive to match the 2nd drive partitions. Then just copy/cut and paste it over. May work seamless like it has for me before.

    Thank you !

The first part i allready did.
Now i booted from new hdd alrerady after cloning my first hdd with c: partition on it.
Now i have like 30 GB of umount space for my second hdd data.

I can now create the rest of partitions with FDISK but i want something more friendly that will do the job from WinXp.
Will Partition Magic will do the job?
    Thanks again !

Yes, Partition Magic and Acronis Partition Expert which I prefer will both do the job. If you have Windows XP, then just right click "My Computer", choose manage from the menu. On left side click on Disk Management. Now on the right you will see your free space. Just right click on the free space and choose create partiton, adjust to size needed, label and format it. Repeat until you have it the way you need. No need to buy a 3rd party app for that when XP has all ya need :D

And i think Acronis have to look for this new feautre in next version.

For people like having 2 hdds each 60 GB and that bought one big 120 GB ,cloning will be just matter of couple minutes .I think many of us had stuck on this.

    Will be waiting ! :D
