This is my first attempt with Clonezilla-live 1.2.1.53.
I'll be the 1st one to admit I probably did many things wrong.
setup: Vista and XP on 1st Sata drive.
Ubuntu 9.04 on 2nd Sata drive.

I put in the live cd and tried to follow the windows.
I settled for ntfsclone on sda1. It never asked about Ubuntu.
As far as I can tell it never backed up XP or Ubuntu.
I pulled out the CD in the middle of it after I thought it wasn't using it.
When it finished splash stuff started to scroll page after page and I had to shut off
    the system to stop it.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

Why don't you tell the folks here which guide or doc page you went with.

    Success.
It took 3 tries with my fumbling with the clonezilla message boxes.
The problem was understanding what to do in a triple boot situation.
I think with a single OS on the puter it would be a breeze.
Who cares how fast it is. It seemed fast enough to suit me. Besides FREE is a whole
lot better than a buggy program for $59.95.

    To Global force:
I would be most happy to supply any info that's needed.
Would you be kind enough to elaborate a little, please.
    Regards,

    Hi GlobalForce,
Actually the link you provided should get most people going fine with a system that has
only one OS on it. If you have to back up to 40 PCs then I can't speak to that.
I do know that it works for a triple boot system and a single boot system, as I have
    done both. I used Clonezilla-live V. 1.2.1-53 ISO.
I would suggest printing off the guide and above all BACKUP before experimenting
with Clonezilla. Mistakes have a way of happening.

    NO, not correct.
This message is coming to you from the triple boot system which I restored from
    Clonezilla-live.
