Thanks TheQuest. I did a google myself but it is a lot of blabla to me.
Reason for my question: I clicked on a link in a webpage, then my browser blocked acces to that clickbank thing. I am still wondering why?

There have been a few discussions here, some recent and some in the past, about clickbank and why it is being blocked. It is present in IE-SpyAd, some Hosts files and other protective software. Mostly I believe because of some historical reason that is not exactly clear today. However, clickbank is also a legitimate online purchasing. DCS uses it, as do other software providers. This recent thread talks a little bit about it.

    Hi LowWaterMark,

Thanks for answering and the link to the other thread which clears a lot.
It happened to me when I clicked on the cryptosuite link on Jooskes webpage.

    Hi, snowbound

Do you mean the link I left?:- hop.clickbank.net

I have Ad-aware Pro 6.181 and it is not blocked.

If not please excuse my post.

    Hi, snowbound

    Thanks for your reply.

Strange! you can not, yet I can. :( :doubt:

May be because I found it with Google.

I will Log Out, clear temps etc.

Try see if it blocked when I come back.

    Still strange though. o_O

I also tested it on Google and Ad-watch blocked it again.

    I can't understand why yours doesn't... o_O

This is a stupid question but u do have Ad-watch enabled right?

    Hi, snowbound

Far from stupid it is BangOn. :D

    Wrong it was not enabled.

As I was cleaning my temps etc, I thought does, snowbound mean Ad-watch.

So I turn it on, connected, Logged On, tried the link and Bingo, BLOCKED.

Not to strange after all. [me  :D ]

Thanks again for your help and input.

    Take care,
