cleaning question ...

Well, I have a little question about Scan&Clean option in NOD32. When I set it to prompt for action when it finds an infected archive the only action is "Leave".
If I set it to Delete every threat found it can delete archives too... Why there is no option to Delete when prompted also?

 

Check the options in AMON > Setup > Security

 

it's not about AMON...it's about the NOD32 on-demand scanner.

 

Because NOD32 finds an archive , it can't take any action against this archive so the onliest option is Leave . If you leave it , when the particular archive is unpacked , AMON will pick it up immediately and move it to the quarantine .

If , however , the user is smart , they will preconfigure NOD32 to delete so NOD32 will know what action to take against this archive , then it will not bother but will delete the whole archive !
