You realize that Chrome is nearly at 14 now?

14 is Beta, so technically ChromePlus is one version behind. That's pretty common for offshoots of popular browsers. That being said, I don't really see much of a market for it, as Chromium and SRWare Iron is there for the offshoot crowd. ChromePlus has been around a good while, I've never tried it though.

Yes, it's one version behind. That's a month behind (more really when you consider that 13 has been out for a week or something.)

I have only quoted from the official link. Maybe, that news is for Chromium 12.0.742.122 since ChromePlus is based on the same. I'm not sure about it. Could anyone clarify that?

That news is for Chrome 12, and ChromePlus seems to be based on Chrome 12 even though the current stable form of Chrome is Chrome 13.

    i don't know...

i think all those bundled extensions are a security risk.
you can always go Incognito to disable extensions but i like to chose which extensions i install and keep those to a minimum.

Chrome or Chromium. I don't trust anything else.

There have been speed improvements since Chrome 12 as well as security improvements (such as certification verification.)

I've tried Chromeplus in the past but felt it was nothing special. Id rather just use Google Chrome. Which I do from time to time (and right now) but still prefer and feel that Firefox is smoother.

My God, you are the first one to admit a very basic fact common to many of us!
