I'm just curious, how many people shut their ChromeBook down at the end of the day, and how many just put it into sleep mode?

My preference is shutdown. On a Chromebook, a reboot is mere seconds and SSD is really fast.

On a Windows laptop, I prefer sleep.

I shut down my chromebook once every couple of weeks. Otherwise it is just a lid close.
Mostly due to laziness but I would not do this with my windoze boxes.

OK thanks, I've read that the occasional reboot is good for update cycles.

I will usually put it into sleep mode, strictly because my Google password is so darn long and complicated. I setup a shorter (but still secure) PIN to wake it up from sleep.
