chrome stand alone?

    Since googles chrome is sandboxed, can it be used as a stand alone?

    Yes you can when you use UAC full (one slide higher than default)

    Make sure you install it from Google pack (then it installs in Program Files (x86). Chrome only touches the appdata folder, the temporary folders (tmp/temp and the download directory you specified). all other is sandboxed through policy management.
