Thank you, WBD! 69 now running on two 7x64 machines and looking great. Really happy with the 40 security fixes. Appreciate all of the useful info you guys post pertaining to Chrome updates. Keep it coming.

Google Wants to Kill the URL September 4, 2018 https://www.wired.com/story/google-wants-to-kill-the-url/
With Chrome 60 the colors and the text look darker now. I don't like the look of the new tabs. The bookmarks have a space between them again like what happened two updates ago.
When it was at the top of the UI it didn't bother me as much but where they've placed is right in your face. Opening Settings and it is the first section shown. Me thinks not enough people have been using "People" so Goggle are pushing harder.
Yes! That works. It put the icon back above where my extensions are next to the Minimise button. Nice!

Google investigating issue with blurry fonts on new Chrome 69 September 5, 2018 https://www.zdnet.com/article/google-investigating-issue-with-blurry-fonts-on-new-chrome-69/
I have that problem too, very annoying. I have Windows 10 with 125% scaling (1920x1080) and the text in Chrome 69 is blurry and weird. Like the bug report mentions it's a zooming, DPI issue: EDIT: Thanks @mood for mentioning this bug
I changed the UI to "hybrid" a while back to get the new tab button back to the right side of the last tab. I'm happy to say that with Chrome 69 the new tab button is on the right side in the "default" UI as well
@mood Nice find, thank you! Believe it or not, I had actually gotten used to having the new tab button on the far left side during the first couple of months of testing that new Refresh top UI theme recently. Now I am having trouble getting used to it again.
Chrome's stripping of trivial domain parts is broken Google Chrome 69 landed recently and with it came a change that hides information in the browser's address bar on the desktop. September 07, 2018 https://www.ghacks.net/2018/09/07/chromes-stripping-of-trivial-domain-parts-is-broken/
From article: This might also be a reason for pushing those changes. With largest browser market share they can actually do whatever they want. And the rest will follow...
LOL, this has always been a problem with Chromium based browsers, and only now they want to investigate this? I've checked out the newest Chrome and it's still crap, almost no customization options.
