I actually don't mind waiting, just posting that fact to see if other users are also waiting. TY for the suggestion however.

Hi Osaban! TY for the info. I grew impatient, so I did like I sometimes do, I reinstalled Chrome over-the-top, and that updated it to 99.0.4844.51.

 

I haven't used Google Chrome in a long time, but in my experience, pressing F5 multiple times on the about page can force auto-update.

 

It's good to know a few tricks, but alas it didn't work. I really can wait, if in a few days it won't materialize I might try Page's way of reinstalling it, although I've never experienced any issues in the past as far as I can remember...

 

Chrome just updated normally some time ago. Nothing wrong with it, just a server delay...

 

Just did a manual check and Chrome updated to v99

 

Happy to learn that 99 is happening.

Yes, I periodically reinstall Chrome, even if there is no glaring issue at hand. The process is quick (under a minute), it seems to make the browser faster, and most importantly, doing so does not alter any of my settings. I probably reinstall every 4-6 months. This time I did it to see if I could get 99. I really like the security updates!
