The Chrome Stable channel has been updated to 17.0.963.65.

This release fixes a number of issues including:
Cursors and backgrounds sometimes do not load (bug 111218 )
Plugins not loading on some pages (bug 108228 )
Text paste includes trailing spaces (bug 106551)
Websites using touch controls break (bug 110332)

Along with these fixes, the release contains an updated version of the Adobe Flash player.

If a mod could edit my other topic (about the bounty) into this one that would be great.

A large security update for the Stable channel - updated Flashplayer and 14 critical holes patched. A separate 30k award split between 3 consistent patchers.

What is the new "Allow" thick box in "chrome://plugins/"?

Do you have plugins set to click-to-play?

Yes. So it will give permission for only allowed plugin if "click to play" is enabled and others will be disabled?

Edit: Yes, it is like that. It gives globally exception for certain plugin. Thanks.

I wonder if Bitdefender QuickScan - Version: 0, 9, 9, 108 is listed as enabled in plugins because I have the TrafficLight extension?
Otherwise, QS is not an installed extension for me, though it used to be.
Anyone with TL seeing this in chrome:plugins?

There is no need to change something. It gives global exception for certain puligins if click to play is enabled.

Meanwhile, my copy of Chrome appears to believe that 17.0.963.56 is the present release. I blame the Gulf Stream, or is it the Jet Stream?

I'm tempted to download the installer & running it just to see if it updates. I also suppose this means that Iron will be updating again soon. That's even more of a rigmarole than this is!

Maybe they pulled the update for some reason. Looking here http://omahaproxy.appspot.com/viewer it's saying that 17.0.963.56 is the current release with 17.0.963.65 being back under QA review.

Interesting, this news hasn't reached Wikipedia yet though, which still cites "17.0.963.65 (March 4, 2012; 2 days ago) " as the current release.

This 17.0.963.66 release fixes an issue in the DOM. (Which some sort of critical Javascript change/bug, from what I can gather.)

Got it updated here..now if they'll just fix the back button not working on some site pages. How many years has that been going on now? otherwise, great release and thank god proper ad-blocking.

The 'back button' issue used to be a regular Iron bug, so it is probably a Chromium thing.
