For the umpthteen time I installed Chrome last month. Played with it for a few days and again it's gone (obsessive svelte PC freak). I just can't give up my personalized Firefox. Having said that, can Chrome be customized like Ff? e.g. move toolbars and buttons, about:config adjustments, userChrome tweaks, etc.

I don't think so. Maybe with extensions, but I don't know of any that can do it.

That's also one of the reasons I've stayed with Firefox.

The interface of Chrome cannot be customized unfortunately, beyond applying themes. Chrome also does not have an about:config type page. It does however have a page named about:flags in which you can toggle on/off experimental features.

Hope that helps. I've been using Chrome since v3, and although I miss the customization and control that Firefox has, I find Chrome to be a perfect fit for me.
