I have found a fix that seams to resolve the MsEdge search bar and or empty page issue with GPU acceleration, the fix may resolve also other hardware related issues, it HW acceleration work properly for sandboxed programs, it probably fixed also the Intel iris XE Graphics issue, but I cant test it.

There is a way this can be tested before the release, if you add AnonymousLogon=n to a sandbox, this will reduce its isolation but with this the HW acceleration works.

The next build 1.0.3 will include a proper fix that does not impact security isolation at all, but for now for testing you can use the aforementioned option.

I would appreciate feedback especially from the Intel iris XE affected users if this workaround works, because if it does it is highly likely that the proper fix will work to.

I am only affected by the Windows 11 invisible "find on page" search bar in Edge, and the failure of Edge to load when HW acceleration is switched OFF.

With AnonymousLogon=n added to my ini file, Sandboxie 1.0.1 refuses to load Edge with AND without HW acceleration enabled. It produces the white window only. I have to delete the sandboxie contents to close it. So unfortunately I cannot test to see if the find on page is invisible or not still. Windows 11 Pro, Intel 8th gen, Intel UHD & Quadro P600.

Good to see it has fixed the problem for those with 11th gen + Iris XE though, but this fix borks Edge completely on Windows 11 OS.

EDIT- I just saw on Github you've listed a different fix for the invisible "find on page" search bar on Edge on Windows 11. So I tried it. I added: EnableWin32kHooks=y to my ini file, saved it, & rebooted the computer, but unfortunately this does not fix the problem. The behaviour is exactly the same as without the fix. The find on page search bar remains invisible, and Edge will still only load with HW acceleration ON. The other ini settings are all default.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news @DavidXanatos
