    Heuristic signatures.

"After this operation, 5,718 kB of additional disk space will be used."
    Bloating again?

I don't think it's bloat when it's 6MB and it has a direct use lol

Thanks for the heads up, HM.

I think if people complain about 6MB, then they would freak out with my Chromium folder ~600MB. LOL I got 8 different Chromium installs. :D

8? lol multiple profiles or just Sandboxie?

I have Beta and Canary with a privacy profile for each.

Multiple profiles (both installs and user profiles). That way I can tweak each one accordingly to different tasks. Many have a low integrity level applied, while others are standard.

How does this affect the Adblock Plus (Beta) experimental build1.2.0.765?

You can now use the Beta on any of the Chrome channels. The stable release of ABP should be out shortly.

OK thanks for the info. Will the ABP beta automatically update (or flag to update) to stable, or will I just eventually uninstall the beta & install the stable?

The beta will likely remain the beta if you have it installed, some features might hit it first.

The beta already checks for webrequest though so if you use it you're already using the proper adblocking.

Stable will update soon if it hasn't alreaedy.

Apparently not yet. I take it I will be able to download it from the Chrome Web Store when it reaches the 'stable' version?

Yes. It will be on there.

Pepper Flash is a more secure version of Flash.

Is it necessary to enable pepper flash or wait ?

Even if you enable it, it will be disabled when you restart the browser.
Is there a way to hide this "not signed in" from New Tab page?

You should be able to do it with some CSS rule. The problem is that Google keeps tweaking stuff and rules that work one day may not do so the next. In case you don't want to do it yourself, you could ask over here after signing up. I'll give it a look as well but a little later on.

I'm not seeing that "not signed in" bit. I don't know why. I ran Chrome 17 (Linux) with nothing blocked. Even after signing in to Gmail, it wasn't there. Even after signing out of Gmail, it wasn't there.
Could you put up a screenshot?

I'm sure others aren't confused but I had to seek help on this. Google may want to reconsider wording some of their about:flags.
