I am confused why sometimes my e-mail gets the NOD32 stamp and sometimes it does not. The stamp I refer to is NOD32 1.1552 (20060522) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com I use Thunderbird for e-mail. Anyone know why some e-mails get that stamp and others don't?
Are any of the e-mail messages in HTML? Sometimes, the HTML coding will hide this message when you look at it. Try looking at the Message Source and see if the message shows up there. (I would tell you the exact menu path for Message Source, but the computer I am at right now does not have Thunderbird installed.)
Are some of your emails recieved via SSL, say from gMail? IMON will not be able to check them unless you do some special setup for SSL tunnelling. Cheers
It's kind of weird to me as I selected Message Source and the NOD stamp showed up in one but not in another, neither are gmail.
Aren't these html emails? If so and they use an incorrect html formatting, then NOD32 wouldn't be able to find the right place for putting a signature.
