Check Image

Using the Check Image tool.
When the image is archived on a second HDD partition in, say ten/650MB .tibs, does the Check Image tool check it like it is just one 6.5GB .tib?
I know that once the archive is burned to 10/650MB discs, I'd have to check each disc one by one in the order they're called for.
In other words, while the archive is on the HDD, I don't have to start the Check Image tool ten times.
Am I right?
