Check for updates in about dialog?

What do you think about the about dialog checking for updates? Like firefox and some other software do?

 

Help/Check for Updates is good for me. Adding another step would be retrograde IMO

 

what do you mean with another step? automatic download like firefox started to do? No that's not on the agenda.

 

At the moment, it's help/check for updates; unless I understand this would become help/about/check for updates
