I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the firewall to enable the connection of Firefox's add-on Chatzilla (IRC client)

    Can someone help??

I get this message for example on chatzilla as ESET blocks it..........

    Connection to irc://irc.example.com/ (irc.example.com:6667) reset.

I think I just need to allow access both ways down port 6667 but I'm not too sure how to go about that because I have no idea about Protocols etc

    Thanx :)

When I disable Firewall I can connect without problems
Firefox is allowing all remote ports to connect

When I try connect to IRC channel I get a detection and the firewall blocks access............

    Detected Port Scanning attack

Can I allow a range for the IP or something and allow it connection?

It connects no problems when I do that. But that's gonna leave me vulnerable from all other sources isn't it?

Not really and especially if you are behind the router, but contact tech support in case they fix the rule at some stage
