Change Width, Color on side scroll bar?

The side scroll bar on Linux Mint is a bit narrow and hard to see for me, how can I change the Width and Color?

Im not sure you can do it using mint settings,but using a different Firefox theme such as aeon big enlarges the icons and colourizes and widens the scroll bar.

 

Are far as I am aware Fx uses your Gtk2 settings so you have to change it in the Gtk-2.0 directory of the theme you are using. The theme files are stored in one or both of two places:
~.themes and/or
usr\share\themes

If you are not used to creating themes I suspect it will not be simple first time around. I can help you if you need so let me know.

 

Thankyou, just installed it and it is great, it widens the scroll bar and makes the color a nice blue. The icons , etc on the top are also bigger. Im very happy with it except one thing, just right about the web page there is a blank grey bar of about half an inch. Any way to get rid of that?

its make pretty clear scroll bar not big but still pretty good........)
