Hallo i have a gigabyte x58 ud5 motherboard with a xeon 5650 and i will move to an asus b85 plus motherboard with i5 4460, all the other hardware will be the same. I have windows 10. When i change the maotherboards i need to clean install windows or the old windows will work?

Contingent upon what version of Windows 10 you had and what OS you upgraded from on your current motherboard, you may well have to purchase the install disk or USB retail, it's around 99.00-129.00 US dollars for a Windows home version.
Activation has changed in windows 10. This is an old article. My windows 10 is activated and linked to my microsoft account so when i will change my motherboard it will list all my activated windows 10 machines and will ask me what machine want to deactivate to make this activation, so this is not a problem!.
Both motherboards have an Intel-Chipset, Realtek-Audio/LAN. And if the rest of the hardware is the same too, i guess there shouldn't be much problems after you switched from the old to the new motherboard. Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed before you switch. But prepare for the worst and make a backup, etc.
