    Hi all,
I am getting the message "change in Autostart" every time I boot up now, I use Autostart viewer, to view it, but cant see a change. I have run a full system scan with TDS, full scan with Norton AV, full scan with A2, I have `spyware guard` and `spyware blaster` installed to autorun at startup. I also run AD Aware6. All fully updated. Nothing is showing as a threat. I know this has been said many times before, but please, please put any changes to Autostart in RED when you finaly release TDS4. This would make life so much easier. Thank you.

Yes, TDS4 will tell you exactly which changes are detected rather than just alerting you to the change. :)

Hi Tut, i had it the other day. that super irritating quickTime had added itself again to the autostart while i wasn't even aware i had run into it, probably closing a page before it could show itself. For me it is behaving as a parasite with that uninvited adding to autostart each time! At least it should ask permission and i would say NO!
Anyway, after getting rid of that entry, next time TDS will tell again about a change of course, since i removed it.
It even adds all time in the same plase, could almost freeze my cursor to that place to delete after startup!

Anyway, hope your autostartchange is as easy as this one!

    Hi Jooske,
Yep I think its the Quick Time, I`m getting the icon in the system tray where it never was before. I shall investigate.

rightclick icon, close it, open autostarty explorer delete key; next time after using it it's back but then you know what it was :)
Oh and after removal next time you get a warning because of removing it.

    Hi Jooske,
I deleted the Quick time from the registry, no changes now!

    Also not after a reboot?
On my system i think it does if i do that, but maybe not all time. It does most certainly when it added itself again. Only for that reason i try to use it as little as possible.
